In 2025 I decided it is TIME to start a business out of my ART!
what do you dream of doing? What is that thing you want so bad it drives you to wake up every day and do the same thing DAY in and DAY out?
I don’t know either lol
Well I kind of do. I know I want to feel in charge of my life. Every day. Because we don’t live life except but in the moments. All the feelings. All the actions you do or don’t make. I want it to be fun, feel free, and make me smile. I want to smile so good it makes my eyes close.
Enjoying nature, connection, art, and the art of letting go.
So in 2025 I decided it’s time to make a website about it. It’s time to make noise about it. What are the things society might call my skills? Well there’s a lot lol
🛼🛹Wanna skate? So do I. And my dog likes it too. I got her an electric skateboard three summers ago. I need a new board lol
🧶 I like yarn. I can crochet an interactive 3D baby blanket that you’ll end up hanging on the wall. A sweater, or mushroom hats for you and your crew (with matching mushroom pouch necklaces) I make rugs but that medium too has variety. I’m playing with making a dice ottoman, pillows, jellyfish, wall art. At some point it can be rug. But I suppose I put a few on the canvas too.
⭕️ My first love was the hula hoop, it been about…. Since 2018? I think so. It’s time to do double hoops; follow that journey on my socials, but why not also learn poi at the same time? It’s fun to feel the way they are the same and different. Dancing in a crowd goes hard with a flowstar though. Nothing like spinning that thing around your legs, behind the head, then tossing it like a pizza and whining to a spin on your finger(I forget the name of the trick)
🔥 I took a fire eating class some years back. Lemme get some sticks and get back into that 👏 now that I have events to do it at I’m inspired again. Give me a reason to pull out my fire hoop. I have some wonderful friends and folks of the arts community around me who are also STELLAR. Vibes
What else? I suppose you can say I also can draw, dance, sew, hike, sing, sleep, skip to my Lou, bask in a good sunrise, I like grass more than concrete, and I really really like my dog and cat. 🐈⬛ 😊
So I’m gonna go ahead and share it all in one space. Make a portfolio out of it. One day (I learn how to pay off student loans now) I plan to save enough money to buy a patch of land where I can build an Airbnb for my traveling friends. An art shed for me, and a lovely barn that can hold events, art classes, and more! Of course I love animals so I want little goats and chickens running around that property. I have NO IDEA how I’m going to get there. But I’m putting it out there!!! And I’m going to benchmark this time in my life working for it.
